Organic, unique, elegant, lightweight and warm woollen coat.
Handmade in Transylvanian Wildflowers, a regenerative textile atelier, specialised in weaving, spinning and plant-dyeing.

Materials and making

Handwoven from Transylvanian Tsigai woollen yarn hand-dyed with walnut, golden rod, indigo, madder root and red onion skin.
Finished by hand sewing.

Care instructions

All Transylvanian Wildflowers garments are handmade and therefore need gentle care.

Washing instructions

Handwashing: Wash very gently in cold water. Wash separately from other clothes. Use a gentle (preferably ecological) washing liquid designed for woollen fabrics. After washing, press the water gently out of the garment. Never squeeze the garment.

Machine washing: You may wash this garment in a washing machine, exclusively in cold water, on the 'wool' washing program. Wash separately from other clothing. Use a gentle (preferably ecological) washing liquid designed for woollen fabrics. Spin on max 600 rotations.

Drying instructions

You may hang the garment gently and evenly (so it won't deform) on a washing line,  but never in direct sunlight. Do not use clothes pins, as they may leave marks on the fabric. You may also spread the garment on a thick towel on the floor, flipping it over from time to time. Never tumble dry.

Storing instructions

Store your garment in a dry place. If not worn for a long time, it will need occasional airing.
